About Bill Lanciloti, Jr.
Founder and Principal
When Bill founded Suburban Appraisal Services in 1985, he had a vision of serving his hometown, Newton, and other Massachusetts communities by offering honest and high-quality real estate appraisals combined with top-notch customer service. After 36 years and thousands of appraisals later, he continues to provide valuation services to attorneys, homeowners, home buyers, accountants, and lending institutions. He is known for delivering a fair, accurate appraisal in a professional, timely manner. He pays attention to details, is prompt and dependable, and loves his work.
Mr. Lanciloti has spent his entire life living and working in Newton. He graduated from Northeastern University and began appraising in 1985. He started Suburban Appraisal Services in 1991, is a Certified two-term Trustee with the Massachusetts Board of Real Estate Appraisers and is active with a number of local charities, most notably The Price Center. Bill enjoys watching all the local sports teams, especially the Red Sox and visiting his daughter in Washington, DC who works for JLL.

SRA
William Lanciloti, President of Suburban Appraisal Services, has been awarded the Appraisal Institute’s prestigious SRA membership designation, which are held by appraisers who are experienced in the valuation and evaluation of residential properties. By receiving the SRA designation, Lanciloti has joined an elite group of appraisers who have met rigorous professional requirements relating to education, testing, experience and demonstration of knowledge, understanding, and ability. SRAs are recognized experts in appraising properties of all kinds and form a business network encompassing markets nationwide and around the world.
AI-RRS
This designation are earned by appraisers who possess experience and knowledge to address issues unique to residential real property reviews. AI-RRS Designated members agree to adhere to the Appraisal Institute Code of Professional Ethics and Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, underscoring a commitment to sound and ethical professional practice.
The completion of continuing education requirements assures that AI-RSS Designated members remain informed on trends and changes pertaining to reviews, enabling them to provide reviews that reflect the latest in professional practice.
